Summer Blues with GANT

I've experienced a growing love for shirts this summer. You'll see in my upcoming Cornwall posts one of my new favourites which is blue and white striped, but you can never go wrong with classic white either. But when GANT got in contact and asked how I would style one of their blue boyfriend shirts I was extremely excited to give it a go! 

I was absolutely over the moon when the shirt arrived. It's fantastic quality and a gorgeous colour making it super versatile and wearable in any season. 

As it's me, I went for the overwhelmingly girly look. I know some people who are a bit afraid to wear shirts because of their stereotype as being a men's piece of clothing. But by pairing it with one of my favourite striped skirts and some super gorgeous and classic heels the look is summery and feminine. 

I managed to snag one of those little periods of sunshine when taking these photos. When they appear in all their glory I have to drag my boyfriend out of the house to shoot, bless him.

I accessorised with all rose gold as I think it's a lovely embellishment to the darker colours of the outfit. Of course I wore my new favourite wishbone studs and my rose gold heart necklace. 

I've definitely had a huge change of heart towards shirts over this season and I definitely think they'll become a staple in my wardrobe from now on. This shirt will 100% be staying in my capsule wardrobe that I've been building up over this year.
