If there's one thing I love about Winter (and there isn't much) it's Christmas. Christmas in July? Even better! So when the wonderful team at Oliver Bonas invited me down to their Christmas Press Day at their Marylebone store in London I was so excited to get a sneak preview of all the gorgeous goodies that will be hitting the shelves this Winter.
And yes, there was a lot of metallic action going on, including my favourite: copper!
I don't know about you guys, but I'm pretty sure I need this pineapple in my life.
Not only were there tons of glorious home bits to look at, but they had also laid on a beautiful spread of food (which was breakfast when I got there but it soon switched to lunchtime delights).
There was pretty much the best banana bread I've ever tasted, and not just because it was glittery gold either.
Everything was absolutely stunning, and I found myself falling in love with so many bits, especially this woollen grey glove and scarf set with gorgeous pink pom poms!
And of course I was drawn directly to the candles and pampering goodies.
The packaging was absolutely beautiful and I can imagine nothing better than a colourful bathroom when it's getting chilly in the Winter.
I was also treated to having my nails done (something I haven't had done in around...ever) by the lovely Nails by Natalie Rose. She transformed my decrepit, work battered nails into something of beauty, namely glittery and pink!
Remember me saying about how it's not a blogger event without macarons? Well, Oliver Bonas certainly did not disappoint! I took home a salted caramel and a vanilla one (which ultimately got smushed in my bag on the way home, but still tasted pretty good when eaten with a spoon!).
They also have the most wonderful range of gifts that can be personalised. Know a world traveller? Then this gorgeous personalised travel journal is just perfect!
Lunch was soon brought out and of course I had to try one of everything. Would be rude not to!
Everything at the day was truly gorgeous and I really can't wait for it to all hit stores! Although I can wait for the cold weather...Oliver Bonas can you just release it all now please?
I was also presented with a wonderful goodie bag which really made it feel like Christmas, including a card holder, a gorgeous clutch bag, a Christmas ornament, a Lychee and Green Melon hand cream and my personal favourite: the Honeysuckle and Narcissus candle, which smells AMAZING!
The candle and hand cream now sit proudly on my desk because they are both so beautiful. I haven't lit the candle yet but it already fills my entire room with it's amazing scent.
