We were back from Cornwall for all of a day before it was time to hit the road again, this time for a wedding all the way in the Isle of Sheppey. My cousin Anneka was celebrating a very special day; she was getting married!
Anneka has been in my life since I was born so it was so wonderful to get to share her wedding day with her. And if I do say so she looked pretty beautiful!
Amongst her chatting to everyone I managed to snag her for a quick photo. You have no idea how hard it is to get the bride away from her guests at a wedding until you need her for something! As we were trying to walk to this spot she got dragged away twice!

The wedding was lovely and rustic, set in a open park overlooking a lake with a big marquee and live band. One of my favourite things had to be the pastel coloured tents that had been hired for the evening by guests. So if you were expecting to have a bit too much to drink you wouldn't have to worry about getting home. They were truly the prettiest things I had ever seen and the big one in the middle was the honeymoon tent for the bride and groom.
As you would expect, the honeymoon tent was decked out in the most romantic fashion, with his and hers pillows, rose petals and a four poster bed.
It really was a wonderful evening and I just want to say a massive congratulations to Anneka and Glenn on their marriage! I hope you have a wonderful life together <3
