"Florals? For Spring? Groundbreaking."
Yes, I'm sure Miranda Priestley would be recoiling in horror at my dress choice for today's post, but, to quote another film favourite; "Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn."
If you didn't already know, I'm currently in Dubai! I've been looking forward to this trip for ages, mostly because of the opportunity for good Instagram photos, the opportunity for good blog posts and the opportunity to wear all my fancy dresses without having to have some kind of elaborate excuse.
Yesterday, my mama and I were lucky enough to go for afternoon tea at the Burj Al Arab (what I can only describe as the most stunning hotel in the world, but more on that later), but of course this meant only one thing; cheeky outfit snaps.
I decided to go with this gorgeous number from Lipsy which, believe it or not I got for £15 in the Next Clearance store at Lakeside. When I saw the price I nearly doubled over, because I'm pretty sure it was originally around £60. BARGAIN. CITY. Kind of ironic since we were visiting a pretty flash hotel, but shhhh, if you don't tell I won't.
Paired alongside some classic strappy heels and an adorable clutch, I was all set to devour my weight in cake. As well as pose in front of people's Bentleys as if I own it.
Dress - Lipsy (Similar here & here) | Clutch - Ted Baker (Similar here) | Shoes - Miss Selfridge (Similar here) | Sunglasses - Primark
This is my second pair of Primark sunglasses that I mentioned in one of my previous posts, and they're just fantastic. For £3 you really can't go wrong and they just look perfect!
I'm not sure if you can see my tan in these photos really, but I promise you I'm working on it! Dubai is at it's most beautiful during this time of year, it's gorgeously warm but not too hot that it's unbearable (like it is in August). It also occasionally rains, so the locals love it. Obviously here you caught me on a good day!
You can also follow along with my Dubai adventures on my Instagram HERE!
Let me know in the comments what you think of my outfit choice, and if you've ever been to Dubai. Hopefully this post has wet your appetite (pardon the pun) for the next post; the first ever Tea Files from abroad! And trust me, it's one you're not going to want to miss!
