Throughout my life I have been extremely lucky in being able to travel to over 50 different countries around the world, as well as going on over 300 flights (which still scare me, for some reason), but a lot of these places were when I was very young and/or hated food at the time, so I didn't always get to fully immerse myself in the country. Now that I'm older, there are definitely a few places I'd like to go back to, as well as some that I've never even stepped foot on before.
So when the lovely people at Clickstay got in contact and asked if I'd like to share my 15 Before 30 (Travel Edition) I absolutely jumped at the chance. I've used Clickstay before & absolutely love their website for finding a villa alternative to a hotel <3
So, let's begin!
1. Hawaii
I'm not sure if it's just my love of Lilo & Stitch driving this first destination, but the idea of Hawaii just sounds like a dream to me. Tropical flowers, crystal clear waters, beautiful beaches...somebody take me away! Also if there's a chance I can find my own Stitch there, even better!
2. Paris
I've visited Paris before, but it was quite a long time ago. I actually have a cheeky trip booked in August so I am very excited to explore on my own and create more Insta-spam than you can even imagine!
3. California
It's actually a dream of mine to road trip across America, and I know that California would definitely be the main destination! I've always dreamed of visiting Coachella and the original Disneyland, as well as doing all the tacky touristy things like walking along the Walk of Fame and visiting celebrities' houses.
4. Santorini
5. New York
Another place I've visited on numerous occasions, but to be honest, you can never get enough of New York, New York! I'd love to be able to properly explore the city, take photographs and eat my way through every doughnut shop imaginable. Central Parks is one of my favourite places as well. Also, if I can ever get a chance to see Hamilton, I would die.
6. The Italian Lakes
7. Thailand
Thailand pretty much goes down as one of the most beautiful places on Earth. I've always wanted to visit the stunning tropical jungles and clear waters. I mean, check out this villa, are you serious?! I would live here if I could. *Prays for Euromillions win*
8. Bali
Just...yes...Bali...beaches...happiness. There's just too much gorgeousness here I can't even deal. I've seen so many people visit Bali lately and it's definitely struck a wanderlust cord in me.
9. Switzerland (Skiing)
A bit of a contrast to the other destinations on my list, but I absolutely adore skiing. Fun fact: I was Junior International Slalam Champion when I was younger (gives me eternal bragging rights, obviously) so to head back to the slopes would be amazing.
10. The Maldives
I've been lucky enough to visit here before, and I have to say it's one of the most beautiful places on Earth and definitely my favourite. We also stayed with Ant from Ant and Dec while he was on his honeymoon so there's that XD
11. Iceland
Another frosty destination, Iceland has been on my list for quite a while, especially because of the Northern Lights and the amazing Blue Lagoon! I mean, who doesn't want to sit in that?!
12. Portugal
I have to say, a lot of my love for Portugal has definitely stemmed from seeing Carrie from Wish Wish Wish's photos from her wedding. I've been before but to the outskirts, so I've never been able to fully explore the beautiful parts.
13. Copenhagen
The Little Mermaid was written here. That is all.
14. The Grand Canyon
Need I explain why I need to see one of the most spectacular natural wonders of the world? I don't think so.
15. Tokyo
Tokyo is somewhere I've wanted to visit ever since I saw an episode of Scooby Doo when I was younger (seriously), but cartoons aside, it would be absolutely amazing to immerse myself in an entirely different culture. They also have another Disney Park I've yet to visit, so that's a bonus! And, those cherry blossoms though...
Let me know in the comments what you think of my list and if there's anywhere you've always dreamed of visiting. I also highly recommend checking out Clickstay if you're looking for awesome, affordable villas! I honestly think the privacy you get from a villa can outweigh a busy hotel any day!
