Sometimes, all you need is a chocolate themed day.
Last week, my best friend Olivia and I headed to London for a very belated Christmas present! Instead of buying each other actual gifts, we decided to each purchase a spa treatment from the Lush Spa in Oxford Street while I still had my cheeky Lush staff discount. As the treatment was a hot chocolate body scrub, we decided to stick with the pattern and head to Choccywoccydoodah in Carnaby for a dessert filled sweet fest.
Choccywoccydoodah (best name ever) have a little shop but above it is the cutest cafe you ever did see! Serving only desserts all day, every day, it's practically heaven for the chocolate addict.
We had a browse of the menu before ordering up our feast. I went for a banana milkshake to drink, which was made with fresh bananas (none of that awful flavoured powder!) and tasted amazing.
While Olivia ordered their classic milk hot chocolate, made entirely from melted chocolate and served with a hefty serving of whipped cream and marshmallows - the only way hot chocolate should be served in my opinion!
We both couldn't resist the two types of Tiffin that were on offer, so we obviously ordered one of each to share!
First up was the white chocolate and coconut Tiffin with coconut cake, golden syrup and glace cherries. It was delicious but very sweet, even for me! I had a couple of pieces before I felt well and truly sugared out.
We also ordered the double chocolate Tiffin, with chocolate cake, biscuits, golden syrup, dried vine fruits and MORE CHOCOLATE. I definitely preferred this one over the white chocolate one but they were both pretty amazing! Thankfully, they even let us pack up the leftovers to take home for later.
The only thing I didn't like was the vanilla ice cream that was served with it, just because it reminded me of the cheap ice cream you can get from the supermarket, as opposed to something a bit more luxurious.
Regardless I was very impressed with Choccywoccydoodah and the chocoholic in me was extremely satisfied afterwards! Even if you don't feel like eating I definitely suggest popping into their store just to eye up their incredible cake creations. They are actually works of art and way too good to eat!
Let me know if you've ever visited one of their stores and if I've tempted you to pop in.
