I always feel a sense of nostalgia when I do a beauty post here on the blog, just because I don't really do them that often anymore and it was originally all I used to write about here! However, I was very excited to write this post as I've finally boarded the NYX hype train. I know right, finally!?
Yeah, I'm definitely always a bit behind with makeup launches, or just any kind of makeup in general, but I was super excited when a little parcel full of goodies* turned up on my doorstep thanks to Debenhams.
I've used NXY lip products before and absolutely love them, so I was very excited to give some more of their products a go, and just try out new lip colours, let's be honest. I've seen a couple of my friends use the Matte Lip Creams before and I've always loved the way they looked, so I was very excited to use the one I was gifted in the shade "Budapest". It's the absolutely perfect, deep burgundy colour for Autumn and I can definitely see myself getting a fair amount of use out of it. I love the creamy application, as well as the matte finish it gives.
Another favourite was the NYX Ultimate Eye Shadow Palette, containing a ton of different shades including both neutral nudes and deep brighter colours. Although I don't think I'll get much use out of the purples or blues, the nude and pinker toned colours are totally up my street and they apply like a dream.
But, the best news is that NYX is now launching in Debenhams! So that means we just have an extra place to buy their awesome products. Huzzah!
I definitely think the lip products were my favourite (as always), but NYX do such an amazing range that there really is something for everyone. Let me know if you have any favourite NYX products and what I should try next! I'd love your reccs...x
