Dress - C/O Chi Chi London | Bag - C/O Zatchels | Necklace - C/O Paul Hewitt | Bracelet - C/O PURELEI
I titled this post 'The Secret Garden', but if I'm totally honest, this garden isn't really a secret at all! And if it is, well, someone's not doing a very good job of keeping it that way!
A couple of weeks ago my boyfriend surprised me with a little trip to Kew Gardens; a place that I have always wanted to visit. Set back in the South West corner of London, this place really doesn't feel like you're in London at all. In fact, it feels more like another world!
Filled to the brim with tropical foliage and flora, as well as three stinking hot greenhouses full of weird and wonderful plants (I was so hoping to get some shots on my camera in there, but it was near impossible!), the location really is one to visit if you're ever in need of an escape from the Big Smoke.
Of course, I couldn't just dress like any regular person visiting Kew Gardens, could I? Especially when the lovely people at Chi Chi London had sent me this stunning dress from their new range. I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it on the website, especially the backless design and real ballerina feel to it. Although I got a bit sweaty when exploring, I received a lot of compliments from other visitors, which is always lovely.
I also may or may not have got a new Sugarcube Bag from Zatchels. I use my Iced Coffee coloured one so often that they sent me another in the Rose Quartz shade, which is absolutely beautiful. I'm really into tiny bags at the moment!
After wandering around, exploring what felt like every inch of the gardens (although in reality we probably didn't even see half of it) we took the tube back home and slept for the rest of the day. Having adventures is pretty exhausting, you know! x
