It seems like every must-visit cafe in London has one thing in common - a flower wall. And if I'm totally honest, if a place has a flower wall, it immediately shoots to the top of my "must visit" list...you know, for the 'Gram.
So, when I found out that a little place called Saint Aymes had opened near Marble Arch in London which featured not only a glorious interior, but also an incredible exterior, I knew I had to go. We were kindly invited down for the day to try out some of their adorable goodies, as well as take far too many Instagram photos.
One thing I didn't realise until I arrived was that the whole cafe is actually themed after The Grand Budapest Hotel, which just so happens to be my all time favourite movie! It was like fate.
We ended up trying the signature hot chocolate, their very pink unicorn latte and some crepes and I have to say it was all very lovely. The hot chocolate was absolutely delicious and went perfectly with their adorable sugar cookies. Be aware, however, that the unicorn latte doesn't actually have coffee in it, which I thought it did so decided not to have it! It's more like a white hot chocolate and it comes in your choice of blue or pink!
The crepes were also super yummy although maybe not the best I've ever had. I definitely preferred the biscuits.
It's definitely worth the visit if you're around London, and the interior is so pretty that it's worth a trip just for that! Not too many people know about this hidden gem yet, so head on over before it starts to get absolutely packed a la Elan Cafe.
Our food and drinks at Saint Aymes were provided complimentary in exchange for review but all opinions are my own.
