Last weekend I took a little trip to Mr Fogg's House of Botanicals in London to try their new Botanical Brunch. My mum, my aunt and my cousins have an annual tradition of going out for brunch for Mother's Day each year, and Mr Fogg's kindly invited us down to try out the menu. Our brunch was gifted but all opinions are my own.
The restaurant is located up the famous spiral staircase and is decorated like something out of an old movie. I absolutely love the vibe of this place, it's definitely my favourite of all the Mr Fogg's establishments in terms of decor. You may have seen the downstairs area on numerous Instagram feeds (including my own) because it's just so beautiful!
It wasn't long before the drinks arrived. Mr Fogg's are renowned for their cocktails and everyone very much enjoyed them. There are three bellini options and everyone agreed that peach and thyme was the best (FYI).
Then came the food. I went for the honey roasted ham, french fries, portobello mushroom, tomatoes and fried eggs, minus the ham of course as I'm veggie. I was glad to see that they were happy to remove the meat off mine too as some places can be funny about changing items on the menu. The food was absolutely delicious and well cooked! It definitely filled me up without being too heavy.
For desserts there were only two options (I think it would be nice for them to have a few more in the future, even though the ones we had were lovely) - vanilla cheesecake and chocolate tart. I had the cheesecake and it was lovely - a good size slice too. `
I'd definitely recommend Mr Fogg's Botanical Brunch if you're looking for a good quality, reasonably priced brunch in London that also has a bottomless option!
Let me know what other brunch spots I should visit in London! x
